Which Locksmith Company?
Choosing a Locksmith Company is hard for anyone. Aside from the cost, there are five things which will help you make a shortlist for your final selection:
Reviews or Testimonials
What have past customers said about the company you are considering. Reviews/Testimonials can be posted on a number of sites, including Facebook, Google Maps, Yelp, Yellow Pages, and HomeStars, among others.
Insurance
Is the locksmith company you are considering insured? This information can normally be found on the company’s website, usually on either the Home or About page.
Professional Affiliations
Does the locksmith company you are considering have any professional affiliations. Any locksmith company worth its salt is a member of one or all of the following: Safe and Vault Technicians Association, Canadian Security Association, Allied Locksmiths of America, and/or The Association of Ontario Locksmiths.
Company in Good Standing
Is the company a member in good standing with the Better Business Bureau?
Size Matters
Finally, is the company a large or small one. Some larger companies pay their technicians only 40% of what a customer is charged. To make up for this, many of the technicians that work for these companies routinely gouge their customers.
We hope that this advice will help you select an excellent locksmith company to ensure the future security of your home or business.
